Kaywoodie Pipe Remembers When 1948 Ad. This color December, 1948 ad states some of our people were taking orders for pipes around Alder Gulch in 1863 when gold was discovered in the mountains of south of Mullen Road, a section which later became the State of Montana. Picture shows Stagecoach changing horses in front of Wells Fargo and General Store. Also 2 pipes the Flame grain and Silhouette. Magazine tear sheet picture is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 9 1/2 inches wide by 13 1/4 inches tall.
