K. Birks 9/16" Tanged Lathe Turning Chisel

This is a tanged chisel from England, marked "K. BIRKS SHEFFIELD CAST STEEL". It is short, 9/16 x 12 3/4" long, but in good condition with a long hardwood handle and iron furule. The handle is very solid and has some burn type indentations in it, but is still useable. I've not seen any other tools with this name on it, as with many Sheffield tools, a long way from home.
