Oil on Board of Rocky Coast of Atlantic Ocean in New England. Dimensions of Painting is 12 1/2 X 7 1/2". Jean (or John) Paul Selinger (1850-1909) Well Listed Artist. Lived in Boston, Ma. in 1880. Known for figures and New Hampshire Landscapes as well as coastal line of New England and Maine Paintings. We have researched him on the internet and have found several examples of his work. He also was known for Portraits, but his best works in my opinion were his Nautical Sunsets. He definely was a talented artist as was his wife, Emily. This painting is Excellent. Original.
