Rare John R. Wendt & Co. sterling 'Florentine' pattern double sided medicine spoon. The 'Florentine' pattern was first introduced in 1870. Tablespoon size with cover over bowl that opens on both sides. It could be used by either left or right handed patients.
Marked: Patent 925 Patent. John R. Wendt silver is rarely marked in any other way.
Mongrammed. In excellent condition with light scratching appropriate to age.
Length: 8 1/2".
Weight: 2.56 troy ounces; 79.7 grams.
