John Henry Belter rosewood lady's upholstered side chair circa 1850-60. Unusual back designed with a pair of columns entwined with scrolls ending in a floral crest. Seat upholstered in a Stroheim and Roman woven jacquard. Measurements: 40 H to back; 18.5 H to (crowned) seat; 16 W at back; 16.75 W at seat; 19.5 W at knees; 17.5 D at seat; and 23.75 D overall.
