This is a nice clean steel caliper that has a double indicating scale on the brass radial plate, the scales appear to be in a measurement that I am not familiar with. A .100" thick part indicates 13.5 on one scale and 26 on the other scale. The pivot joint is snug, the spring load works just fine, the indicator needles are both at 0 when the caliper is closed. This gage measures 8 3/4" long overall.
