Jeralde & Lawton Little Giant Bicycle Wrench Pat. 1886

$75.00
Quantity available: 1
This is a very hard to find 4" long bicycle wrench marked "LITTLE GIANT U.S.A. PAT. MAR.11.84-FEB.16.86" on the moving jaw section. The patent was held by the maker Jeralde & Lawton, Cheshire CT. They apparantly also made is similar style hollow cutlery handle to which their wrench patents partain. Considering the age of the wrench, it is very nicely finished, near precision fit and movement, and in good+ condition with over 70% of the original nickel plating intact, very little wear, straight, not damaged, some minor dings. Although others in this style were made, this is one of the harder ones to find, particularly in this nice condition!
An added note: A exact wrench with the Capitol name on it, bears the same patent dates. Capital Mfg. was in Chicago IL., they apparently had the rights to use the patent by Jeralde & Lawton.
