About 20 years old, but has never been used. Beautiful workmanship. Three tiers of box, with one removable division. Black with red interiors. Decoration in golds and red with grey. Base material may well be plastic, but the decoration and lacquer work is beautiful. Possibly for sushi or sashimi, or maybe just a lovely trinket box. Box measures 14 cm high and 13.75 cm square (5.1/2 inches by about 5.1/2 inches square) Each tier is 4.5 cm (1.3/4 inches) high. Excellent condition, never used.
