This is for a pair of of figural Japanese Hannya demon cufflinks and matching tie clip that are incredibly crafted with a Japanese mask that depicts a Noh theater character named Hannya. She is the embodiment of female rage and jealousy and was spurned for another woman. Her rage gives her magical powers. She is often depicted in Japanese obi sash pieces and the like.. This Japanese theatre mask design, representing the jealous female demon, possesses two sharp bull-like horns, glaring eyes, and a leering mouth split from ear to ear.
