Japan China (Underglaze) "Windmill" Covered Sugar

$100.00
Quantity available: 1
Japan China (Underglaze) "Windmill" Covered Sugar. This Covered Sugar is 6 3/4" Wide by 5 1/4" Tall and is a Blue Transfer Ware. This pattern came out just prior to the onset of the Great Depression of 1929. Because of its Rarity I called the largest matcher in the world down in Greensboro, North Carolina to check its availability. They said they had customers for this pattern but never had a piece in stock for the 30 years they were in business, nor did they have a picture to show on their Website. So, if you are a Flow-Blue collector, or a Blue-Transfer Ware collector, or just a China Pattern collector, this may be a once in a life time chance to acquire a sample of this Extremely Rare china pattern. The Replacement value of this Covered Sugar is $150.00.
