This is a nice quality, 29/32" wide x 13" long beveled socket chisel. It's marked on the steel with a stamp in the shape of a swimming swan, the familiar shape of the James Swan logo. It is sharp, and does cut well. The handle is nice solid, nice leather cap end, some wear on the finish, and some scratches. The steel cutting edge is sharp and ready to use. We do note some minor pitting on this chisel, but it's very good quality steel, and holds a good sharp edge. A nice clean, sharp, hard to find size chisel, by a well known quality edge tool maker!
