Quality grouping of three pieces from the estate of former Coast Guard Officer Walter Smith. Smith was a good close friend of boxing legend Jack Dempsey during his life. This lot consist of a fine original 8" x 10 photo of Walter Smith and Dempsey laying a World War 2 Wreath which is signed and personalized to Smith by Dempsey. Another item is postcard mailed by Dempsey to Walter Smith with a note by Dempsey in his hand writing. Finally a framed 8" x 10 photo of Walter Smith and Dempsey with fellow officers of the U.S.Coast Guard.
