Italian Pottery Bowl
Unavailable
This is an interesting piece to describe. First of all, it's Italian, and secondly, it's made of a light brown brick sort of clay. The pot has been glazed with a mottled white which looks almost like foam. Then came a light black/gray glaze and then a sgraffito-like pattern of lines and circles carved into the pot, just to where the brown and white foamy pattern shows. The whole thing is then glazed with a clear glaze, and the overall result is quite interesting. There are two handles (one is in a shadow). The pot is stamped on the bottom in black capital letters ENESCO ITALY.
