One additional photo available.Antique cream plaster Italian medallion plaque signed and incised on the back "Cosimini" depicts a feminine Roman goddess in flowing robes and floral garland in hand. Her large wings protecting a small cherub with his tiny wings riding on her back holding the lit peace torch as they fly. All figures in raised relief work and gorgeous coloring with aging. Minute scuffing to the right out edge. The piece was cracked into many years prior and expertly repaired so that almost invisible through the wing area,across their necks and out to the opposite side. Small metal hanger inserted into the plaster on back for hanging as well as a bumper pad to hold out from the wall. Otherwise excellent condition. Measures 13H X 13L X 7/8 inch deep.
