This is a new old stock standard length auger bit marked "IRWIN" on the shank. This is a standard Irwin pattern auger bit, with the double spurs and cutting edges. These have been painted black at the factory before the final machine grinding was done. This helps to resist rust on the bit over the years. It measure (9.2" long overall x 1.0" diameter). This auger bit is marked 16 on the tapered square end shank. In fine, new old stock condition!
