Vintage Antique Victorian RPPC Real Photo Rotograph WW1 Postcard of Elsie Janis the Automobile Girl. It says Compliments of The Automobile Girl Elsie Janis. On the back it says, this card is real Photograph on Bromide paper The Rotograph Co. NY. Elsie Janis in The Vanderbilt Cup 1906. She's dressed in early automobile attire. In the play she drives a car on stage. More well known a an actress, comedian and supported of the troops both British and American in WW1. She was well known as the Sweetheart of the AEF (American Expeditionary Forces). She was born in 1889 and died 1956. She lived across from Ohio State university until her death. A McDonalds is built on the same ground today. This card is in good vintage condition. Real Photo4
