This is a very important Gertman Military or NSDAP party inkstand in black marble with two ink holders. To the rear is the German Eagle used during the period 1933-1945 in bronze. The hooked cross symbol was removed post 1945, but can be easily replaced. The condition is very good in that the item is not damaged and not broken. It was used, and there are very minor abbrasions to the marble at the corners. I have never in 20 odd years of dealing antiques seen another. Would suggest that this item is very rare.
