Bearing hallmarks of St Petersburg, 1878, this fine, heavyweight silver salver has a lustrous, matted finish of old salt-applied gilt, lending it the tone of green gold. In excellent condition, it is approximately 8-1/2 inches in diameter and half-an-inch deep, and is of 84 zolodniks purity.
