About The Poster: Many of us do not realize the impact that postal history has had on the development of our contemporary society. The early 20th century is marked by the rapid development in the transport industry which shaped the prevailing modes of communication in the western world. Ships, trains, and later on airplanes, allowed people to send packages around the world fast and, gradually, in an affordable fashion. This poster was created in 1928 and advertises package delivery by the French Postal Service. The poster is lined and in very good condition.
