Bulletin du Salon D'Automne 1916-1917, 6 booklets, each in very good-excellent condition, with outside wrapper. Each booklet is intact, with between 10-16 pages, and each booklet has multiple illustrations and text. Measurements of booklets - closed 6.5 x 10 inches, open 13 x 10 inches. Of the Salon D'Automne, Wikipedia writes: In 1903, the first Salon d'Automne (Autumn Salon) was organized by a variety of artists, including Matisse, as a reaction to the conservative policies of the official Paris Salon. The exhibition almost immediately became the showpiece of developments and innovations in 20th century art.... During the Salon's early years, established artists such as Renoir threw their support behind the new exhibition and even Rodin displayed several drawings. Since its inception, the greats and future greats of the art world such as Cezanne, Matisse, Gaugin and Picasso have been shown here.
