Liberty Boy. This composition doll is the World War I doughboy from the Ideal Company made in 1918. He is called Liberty Boy. It is 12" tall and is heavy. He wears his complete uniform that is molded and painted on him, missing his cloth hat. There is flaking to the paint on the right leg. His fingers have a little chipping on the left hand. His face and hair are very good. There are 3 stripes and a star on the right forearm and a U.S. on each collar tip. He has on a black tie.
