Beautiful rose, handpainted on porcelain, by artist at L Hutschenreuther Selb Company, surely in the early 1900s.  The company produced many beautiful handpainted items, some just like this one.  The company is still in business, but it began in 1857 in Selb, Bavaria.  The wear on the bottom of the plate indicates it has been around a long time.
