This very bulbous redware vase has a matte finished glaze in reddish-orange/sand colors and it has a smooth, satiny feel. It is signed on the bottom HURONIA POTTERIES LTD., MADE IN CANADA with the tee-pee logo label. This company I believe was founded by a man who used to work for the Blue Mountain Pottery Company. Made on the southern shore of Georgian bay in the town of Meaford Ontario. It measures approx. 5 inches H. x 4 3/4 inches across bulbous part x 2 1/2inches dia. at bottom and 1 inch at neck opening. Absolutely excellent condition. This vase would make a magnificent addition to your Canadian or Huronia Pottery Collection.
