This tall tile is perfect for a lodge setting or a gift for that special man. It shows an image of a hunter holding a rifle. The tile is covered in a mottled glaze of warm browns and caramels. The tile is crisp and from a nice sharp mold. More often this tile is found cut into three six-inch tiles. An eighteen inch tile is more uncommon and more desirable.
The condition remains excellent with a small nick on a corner. The back is unmarked. A three tile version can be found pictured in the Encyclopedia of American Art tile, Vol 1 page 168.
