The painting on this figurine is just exquisite! This "Apple Tree Boy" was produced in the 1960's and is in exceptionally pristine condition. The colors are vivid and the shading is some of the best I've seen. He measures just 4 inches tall and has 142 3/0 incised and is back marked, "W. Germany", which is centered beneath the V and Bee and is rendered in blue. This stylized bee was used from about 1960 and continued in this use until about 1972. This wonderful piece is awaiting a new home with someone to love and cherish him.
