This is an early color variation "Flower Madonna". Based on the marks it was produced sometime from 1923 to 1949. The robe is a light azure color and Jesus' gown is green with red crosses on it, among other color variations. It is open halo. Previously owned for 50 years by a Hummel collector. There is a faint line running accross part of the bottom of the piece and up the robe that may indicate a previous fracture or it may have been done in the original manufacturer. Either way, the repair (if it is a repair)is excellent and the line is almost indistinguisable as it travels up the robe.
