This darling plate was made by Schmid Bros. of Germany. Mrs. Victoria Hummel, Berta Hummel's mother, authorized Schmid Bros. to copy the plate. The design was done by Berta Hummel and she gave it to her aunt before she entered the Convent. As stated on the base, this design was an example of Berta's abiding love of children. It is a limited edition and fifth in a series portraying the works of Berta Hummel.
