HUGE Vintage Czech EGYPTIAN revival winged ISIS Bookpiece NECKLACE

Beyond exotic and gorgeous this tremendous statement necklace is something to behold. This is one of the largest most dramatic glass drop pieces I have ever seen with the most amazing amethyst color glass and prism drop prisms. This is from the czech republic which produced some of the finest jewelry in Czechoslovakia. This is an Eastern European treasure made from pieces for the Art Nouveau period. Branching out from the spring closure are purple glass beads that hold this AMAZING centerpiece. The center has a large ( 3 1/2" wide) ISIS head with wings behind her and a very large purple glass stone on her head. From that is an even larger purple faceted glass setting that holds another Egyptian head with two more heads and mummies around it. The stones are all faceted glass and are soldered to the piece. Just the length of this massive bib is something to behold. It measures a WHOPPING 10" long from the top of the purple stone above Isis's head. . The necklace glass chain is is 21" around the neck ( not counting this glorious BIB) These glass drops are rich in purple and lilac amethyst color and brilliant in their cuts. The work on this is so artistic and so tedious that I can't even imagine how long it would take to solder this master piece, much less create it. The metal which has not been plated has aged gloriously and has not been polished or cleaned. It is sold as such with no cleaning to be done until it meets its new owner.This was shown at a recent large jewellery show and was the hit of the whole show. Truly an exception piece that needs a GOOD HOME. .My price is firm but I do offer layaway.    IF you are a dealer and want to make people come to your booth then this is it. I purchased this many years ago from a woman who traveled to the czech republic. I bought three of her pieces and have had them in a show case ever since. I am not selling this for the age of this piece, but for the beautiful work that is involved in it. You can tell this was hand soldered and not machine done. The brass is raw brass that has not been gilt and looks fabulous in a dark and mysterious way. A true artisan piece. 
If you are a connoisseur of style of art deco jewelry then this is the piece that is the ULTIMATE. Very few pieces of semi precious stones are missing is any has wonderful patina. I do not know the exact date it was made. I am selling this because it is fabulous.   This will require insurance which is not included in the shipping price.
