23.5" high x 8.25" wide. Silver Plated. Not engraved. This trophy has the WOW factor! Fantastic visual effect! Shiny as the day it was made c1950 due to the fact that it had been lacquered at point of manufacture. That coating had yellowed so I had my silversmith remove it & polish it. It originally had 2 puny little handles of poor design one of which broke off when the trophy was lifted. I had both of them removed with excellent results, meaning that the cup is now rather elegant. There are minor marks where they once were, not noticeable unless pointed out. I have not dismantled it to discover its maker but can state with certainty that the figural finial of a bowler on the Art Deco style "Wings of Victory" was made by the Weidlich Brothers of CT. The base is Bakelite and is in fine condition. The silver plated collar is ready to be engraved. A stunning vintage sporting trophy for your Club trophy vitrine or to add some glitz to your office or library.
