Antique Athena Cameo brooch pendant Caved Shell one of a kind

THis is one huge fabulous carved cameo with Athena and possibly  Demeter, Goddess of Harvest~ she makes things grow~ like corn & wheat ( thanks to a helpful etsier) .Athena was worshiped in Greece, she is the Goddess of Wisdom & heroic endeavor (that is why she wears the helmet for battle). Athena is who Athens, Greece is named after & one of the major cities in the region. It has amazing detail and high relief. It measures 2 1/4" long. Guessing from the shape of the nose and the hinge, I would say this is turn of the century. This is its original setting with brass beaded bezel. The closure was a C clasp but at some point in its life, it was professionally changed. This also has the original pendant loop on the back. THe hinge is still original to help date this. .
