Hudson They All Came Back Ad 1944 This is a March 25, 1944 advertisement. It is a nice black and white ad from Hudson Car Company of Detroit. Ad shows U S Planes in air over a Japanese ship, smoke in the air and it reads, Last Christmas morning new Navy Helldivers swarmed over Kavieng, second most important Jap base south of Truk. Down dropped their lethal cargo, destroying 6 ships and 8 planes and badly damaged others. Then all came back safe. At Hudson we feel we have a personal stake in the lives of these heroic fliers, for we are mass producing wings for the planes they fly. In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/2 inches wide by 13 1/2 inches tall.
