This book titled "How to Make an 8-inch Bench Lathe in the School Shop" is from the South Bend Lathe Works in South Bend, Indiana. It is in good condition with all of the pages intact in very good condition. There is an inch long tear at the bottom of the front cover and some light creasing, minor edge chipping and light soiling of the covers. This is Text Book No. 4 prepared for students in technical, vocational and industrial schools and for the apprentice in the shop. It was copyrighted in 1920 by the O'Brien Brothers and has schematics, illustrations and instructions on how to make the lathe. This 64 page softcover book is 5" long, 6 13/16" wide and 1/8" thick.
