Hildegard Hamilton (American 1898-1970) Oil on Canvas; signed lower right 'Hildegard Hamilton'and also on the back. Depicting a mediterranean street scene. Note: Hamilton studied in Paris and at the Art Students League. She was a member of the Louisville Art Association, Boston Art Club, and the Washington Art Club, and exhibited extensively throughout the 1930s-40s, at the Syracuse Museum of Fine Art, University of Kentucky, and the National Arts Club.
