Antique 18th century Georgian Silver Caster. Made in London 1782 by Hester Bateman. The Castor of baluster shaped form, plain dome base with reeded surround, plain bulbous body with reeded central band, engraved with intertwined monogram in script beneath; detachable pierced cover with swirl flame finial. Fully hallmarked under base and hallmarked on cover. Height: approximately 5 ¾ inches. Total Item Weight: approximately 2.58 oz.
