For Sale is a great replacement part for anyone who is missing a 2 1/4" heat cap for their lamp. The cap is 2 7/16" outside diameter and 2 1/4" inside diameter. The cap has a fabulous Verdi green/brown patina. I also have the 8/32" thread if you need this to hard mount the cap to the top of a shade on a lamp base that is tapped this size. This was the size that Tiffany Studios, New York used. You can also use this cap for shades that sit on three arms known as spiders or a 10" ring.

Art Glass shades blown by Steuben, Tiffany, Quezal, Durand, and Lustre Art as well as Loetz could use this heat cap as long as the fitter size is 2 1/4" The cap would act as a slip fit cover over the 2 1/4" fitter on the top of the glass. Quality parts are hard to come by so purchase with confidence as this is considered Tiffany Studios Quality and it looks just like the real one.
