Stunning footed Hawkes Gravic glass vase in their sought-after Iris pattern. It is decorated with 2 large, gorgeous bearded iris. Cut intaglio style with exquisite detail and finesse. The iris stem and leaves are deep wheel cuts. Fine sprigs with dainty blossoms appear between the leaves and from behind the flowers. This motif is also used to create a wreath on the underside of the foot. Egg and dart pattern around mouth.
MARKED: Hawkes trefoil acid mark on bottom center as shown in photo.
Circa early 1900's
MEASURES: approx. 5 inches diameter, x 7-1/4 inches tall.
Very good overall condition. No chips, cracks, dings or repairs found. There is wear on the base some scratches inside.
