Hand Painted Porcelain Lidded Cheese Dish Butter Keeper -with Wood Finial Handle. The square plate measures 6.5" x 5.5". With the lid it is 3" tall. The lid is sloping. The wood handle appears to be teak but I cannot say for sure. The store I purchased this from call this style mid-century.
There is a mark on the bottom that looks like it says France and some other words but it is very worn off and illegible. The condition is excellent.
