Old Hand Made & Hand Painted Ceramic Clay  Mexican Christmas ornament bulb.    This is a solid piece that is painted  Apple red with black and gold leaf type trim and heavily lacquered.    It measures approx 3.25" across and tall. 

The condition is good but not perfect.  There is some of the old paint wearing off on the top.    This ornament is so different then most of the bulbs you see now.   It is marked " Mexico " on one side in a discrete place along one of the leaves.
