Hand Painted on Camel Bone Persian Trinket Casket or Box.  This is miniature with a brightly painted scholar scene.  There are figures on all sides.   The box has a dome hinged lid and it is felt lined on the bottom inside as well as the bottom of the outside.  It has 4 carved legs with scalloping.       The paint is oil and some pigments from herbs.  

It is lovely and special piece.    It measures  2" high x 3"  wide and 1.5" deep.  

The condition is excellent.
