This is painted on a "Washington Colonial" blank by the artist H.R.Yearsley. It is of the basement kitchen in the Ross House in PA. It depicts a fireplace. Has "Betsy Ross House", "Basement Kitchen" & "Old Philadelphia" in blue script & the artist's signature. The plate has an ornate embossed scroll, diamond, etc pattern on the scalloped rim. The back is stamped in green "Washington Colonial Made in U.S.A." & has in blue "H.R.Yearsley Studio 10 N. 2nd St. Phila."
