This is a wonderful hand colored engraving drawn by Thomas Rowlandson and engraved by Henry Alken. The image depicts audience members in a box enjoying a performance. It includes pretty young women, matron and an elderly courtier. The colors are still vivid and it is currently framed and mounted in distressed mirror matte and silver gild frame.
