This is a wonderful hand colored engraving drawn by Thomas Rowlandson and engraved by Henry Alken. The image depicts audience members in a box enjoying a performance. It includes pretty young women, matron and an elderly courtier. The colors are still vivid and it is currently framed and mounted in distressed mirror matte and silver gild frame. It would make a wonderful pair with Item #A-20 as they have matching frames and mattes. Please note the image size is: 9.25" wide x 7.25" tall.
