What a beautifully carved wood Sandpiper bird......measures 15 inches long from end of beak to end of tail.....standing on a faux rock, this bird was hand made by H.Glick ,in 1969, as evidenced by the inscription on the bottom of the bird....in GREAT condition.....very handsome pieceI am an antique junkie. I do a lot of traveling attending local auctions and estate sales, particulary in my home state and while I try to give as best description as possible when listing items, bear in mind I am not an expert. That what you see is how it is presented to me. I do not go out of my way to clean up the items; I leave that up to you.
