Here we have a very nice hand blown opal glass ball lampshade that fits over an oil lamp chimney. This globe is in excellent condition with no breaks, chips or cracks. It appears to have been hand painted with a beautiful American Beauty Rose pattern on the front and a single rose on the backside. The glass is a soft off white and appears to glow when on a lit lamp. There is a brass ring around the hole in the top of the globe for the chimney to vent through. The base has a 4” fitter. There are no cracks, breaks or chips on the fitter it is in great condition. I do not know the maker or exact date it was made. This piece is antique and may not be perfect. This piece measures 11¼ inches tall, 11 inches side to side and 11 inches front to back. It weighs 6 pounds. We do have more photographs that we can email if you are interested.
