Hampden 21j John Hancock Factory Salesman's Display Case Circa: 1914. Rare Hampden case, obtained only from the factory itself! This case is marked on both bezels and was used exclusively by the Hampden Factory authorized salesman. The absence of a bow permits the user to quickly turn the watch around to present either the movement or dial. Clean, running and especially collectible. THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DON'T INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. BUY SOMETHING PROVEN IN TIME.
DIAL: Double sunken white porcelain with bold Arabic figures signed in fine script: Hampden watch Co./ CANTON, OHIO. Short hairlines at 4 & 12 edge. Very nice.
MOVEMENT: 18 size, open face, lever set, Adjusted to Five Positions, John Hancock, 21 Jewels, Full plate nickel, #2,909,544. Very clean, running.
CASE: Snap Back and Bezel all nickel marked: DUEBER HAMPDEN on both bezels. Absent bow is original to this Factory designed case. Original glass beveled on both sides. Rare.
