HAMILTON 23 JEWEL GRADE 950 ELINVAR MONTGOMERY HAMILTON CASE MODEL 2. This Hamilton Railroad Grade has it all!! The most desirable R.R. model case; the Model 2. The most desirable Railroad dial, the bold Montgomery (original hands). The most desirable Hamilton Railroad model, the 23 jewel signed: "ELINVAR". "Elinvar" was a patented combination of parts associated with the escapement which was introduced in the 950 just before it became the "950B". THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DIAL: Double sunken white porcelain dial with original black spade hands and Montgomery signed "HAMILTON" w/micro hairline just under the sub. seconds circle.

MOVEMENT: 16 size, open face, 2 finger nickel bridge, "950", "ELINVAR" marked under the balance, all 14k capped screw down jewel settings, "23/Jewels", #2,611,647.

CASE: Mint original Wadsworth 10k Gold Filled Railroad Case Model 2 Bar-Over-Crown. Tight bow and absolutely no brass anywhere on the bow area or elseware.
