Hallmark - Up on the Housetop - 2001 Magic Ornament New

Hallmark really outdid themselves this time! This ornament is one of our favorites - it has amazing detail and a wonderful sense of humor! This house looks great in a Christmas village and fits right into the Nostalgic House series of Hallmark ornaments!

This wonderful magic Keepsake light, sound, and motion ornament is called "Up On The Housetop" and was created by Hallmark Cards in 2001. The ornament measures approximately 5 1/4" high and is about 3 1/2" wide. We purchased this ornament new back in 2001 but never displayed it.

A three story Victorian house has snow covered bushes out front as well as a snowman. The date "2001" was incorporated into the ornament by making it the address of the house and placing it on the front door! A black dog with white chest and paws lies on the front porch.

Just plug the ornament into a string of miniature lights on your tree then press a button on the back of the ornament and watch the action begin! Santa is falling down the chimney head first and his reindeer are trying to free him by pulling back and forth. The racket wakes the house, lights come on inside and the family appears to rush to the windows while the tune "Up On The Housetop" plays. There are two children in their pajamas on the first floor dancing around, one is hugging a teddy bear. Inside the turret on the first floor, children are rushing to the fireplace where Christmas stockings are hung. A tall Christmas tree sits in the window. On the second floor, the family cat looks out the window. An adult rushes to the window holding a candle in the second floor of the turret.

The ornament is in excellent, new condition and has only been out of the box to photograph and inspect it. The box has slight shelf wear due to improper storage and still has the original price tag in tact. Comes with an instruction sheet. If you are a fan of Santa, this ornament is a must!
