Gustav Gurschner Art Nouveau Bronze Nautilus Lamp

Unavailable
This figural bronze lamp in the manner of Gustav Gurschner (1873-1971) features a fabulous iridescent seashell shade. It measures 13" high, 6.5" wide and 6" deep and weighs an estimated 8 lbs. Rewired and ready for use. Condition is excellent. T are no repairs and the only visible flaw is a hair line visible on the inside of the shade which can be seen in our images This lamp is certainly old and believed to date from the Art Nouveau period, but t is no signature so we cannot attribute the lamp to Gurschner himself. (Gurschner pieces were normally signed with his last name and the word "depose".) This item resides with our client in Westchester County and may be seen by appointment.
