GRUEN CURVEX 42mm FACETED GOLD FILLED CASE Circa: 1952. This watch features the famous curved case and movement style unique to Gruen. The purpose of the curved shape on this long, narrow watch was to fit the curved wrist. This better fit was very unique and fashionable for the gentleman where style was important. Clean, running, this watch is very collectible. THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DON'T INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. BUY SOMETHING PROVEN IN TIME.

DIAL: Professionally restored silver satin sub. seconds dial with dot and Arabic alternating figures marked: "GRUEN/Precision".

MOVEMENT: Curved nickel movement conforming to the curved case, 3/4 Plate nickel, gold signatures, "Gruen Watch Co. Precision/Curvex Pat.", "Switzerland", "17 Seventeen Jewels", #D514,328.

CASE: Mint original snap back faceted Gruen Curvex 42mm by 22m case. This case is free of dings or imperfection, and appears not to have visible wear. Very nice.
