Both pieces are tufted upholstered back extending to closed arms terminating in open-mouthed lion's heads, the apron centered by foliate carving and the legs terminating in double knuckled paw feet (settee 33 INCHES t. x 33 INCHES; deep x 55 INCHES wide and the armchair is 33 inches tall x 31 inches wide x 33 inches deep).
