An unusual Match Striker with neon green bubbles in the glass base instead of the traditional all ribbed glass normally associated with match strikers. The wide sterling silver band dates it to London 1905. Matches would have been stored in the center well and ignited by striking the head of the match on the top band of ribbed glass. Considering the excellent condition of the match striker it appears that this piece was not used terribly often. The rare green color makes it a lovely addition to your collection. The last photo shows our collection as of 11.10.
